ANT-POCALYPSE
You get sixty seconds. Then nature takes over.
Dig a nest. Place your queen. Press Start.
That's the last thing you do. Twenty ants take it from there — walking the tunnels you gave them, feeding a queen whose food meter never stops draining. You can't steer them, can't pause, can't dig a shortcut when the route you built turns out to be too long.
When it's over you get a colony report — the exact moment it went wrong. Then you build a better nest.
Gameplay Features
- Fixed Excavation Budget: 100 cells of dirt. Every metre of tunnel is depth you spent somewhere else.
- Zero Post-Start Input: The setup phase is the entire decision space. Once the simulation begins, the interface disappears.
- Depth-Versus-Throughput Tension: A shallow queen eats fast and dies exposed; a deep queen is safe and may starve on travel time alone.
- Deterministic Simulation: A single seeded RNG drives every run, so the same layout always produces the same outcome. Failure is diagnosable, never luck.
- Colony Postmortem Timeline: A timestamped reconstruction of the collapse — first delivery, route failure, cause of death.
- ⚠️ Scheduled Environmental Threats: Flood propagation through connected cells, entrance denial, and surface predation, each testing a different structural decision.
Controls: Mouse only, and only before you press Start.
